That was some match, wasn't it?

And it was even more fun with Lovegood commentating. Though I suppose it didn't do much for anyone actually wanting to follow the game, still it was educational. I'd never heard of a Bunticle bite before or that it causes people to speak only in limericks. Must be inconvenient for the side when they're trying to call out plays to each other.

(No, Bits Bets, it's not a real thing. I don't think. Probably not.)

I guess it doesn't matter because we won anyway, so

GO, RAVENCLAW!

Congratulations on making the Slytherin side.

I just hope it doesn't make all the difference, ha-ha. We'll probably win anyway, since half your team will be new. Don't take it personally, though!

(And that's not me using improper etiquette, either, since we're just about equal in precedence, heh.)

I'm heading down after lunch to cheer you on. Bitsy and Phillip want to come, too. (They asked why I was going to watch Slytherin's try outs and I told them, hope that's all right.)

Just remember, when you're turning in tight formation, nudge the broom with your knees, not your hand. And it's not the same as distance flying, so think about your levels and not just all on one plane.

You'll be brilliant! And I'll see you after.

Well, that was some amazing flying from Chang, wasn't it? Too bad it wasn't enough to give us the edge.

Well done, Hufflepuff!

(About time, I reckon.)

Is Samuels going to be all right, then? He looked about as relieved as anyone to make it back to the ground.
alt_michael: (Unhappy)
Well, I turned it in.

I dunno if in retrospect I should have just let well enough alone. I mean, I really did want to change the section on hypermobility and then when we got to talking about the inter-relationships of spell taxonomy I could see what Linus meant and I really wanted to work on that.

But somehow last night it didn't come together like I meant it to do. I'm not sure he'll really fancy the results.

Nothing I can do now, though.

Thanks for you help. Next time, I'll just skip Linus and come straight to you.

Are you going to watch the Quidditch on Saturday? It's us against Hufflepuff so I don't know if you'd planned to go. I mean, I don't know if you really follow it when it's not Slytherin playing. But if you are, you could sit with me and Bitsy and I bet Philip would love it, too.
